11,121 pass July 2024 criminologists licensure examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday, Aug. 23 that 11,121 out of 22,539 passed the Licensure Examination for Criminologists.

The exam was administered by the Board of Criminology on July 31 and Aug. 1–2 at 22 testing centers across the country.

Alyssa Eliana Nazaire Bautista of Araullo University was the topnotcher with a score of 92.10 percent.

Jericho Aguilon Suarez of the University of Mindanao-Davao City and Renier Andrian Barbacena Togño of Naga College Foundation tied for 2nd place with a score of 91.50 percent

Mark Rio Domingo Guadalquiver of the University of Mindanao-Tagum and Leziel Tumampos Jucotmaya of Holy Name University (formerly Divine Word-Tagbilaran) shared 3rd place with a score of 91.30 percent.

April Joyce Salazar Hampac of Southern Capital College and Roshen Novian Pansoy Mapang of the University of Cebu-Banilad tied for 4th place with a score of 91.15 percent.

In 5th place was Kaye Angelie Torio Francisco of the University of Mindanao-Davao City with a score of 91.10 percent.

Jimpol Cabargada Gomez of Mabini Colleges Inc. and Christian Molero Serabia of Burauen Community College shared 6th place with a score of 91 percent.

In 7th, 8th, and 9th places were Ryan Christopher Calamaya Lim of Visayas State University-Tolosa (90.95 percent), Jenny Marie Gordillo Ypil of the University of Mindanao-Davao City (90.90 percent), and Abigail del Mundo Gandol (90.85 percent) of Batangas State University-Batangas City, respectively.

Sharing 10th place were John Carlo Montoya Cabral of Holy Cross College-Pampanga, Renz Dinglasan dela Cruz of Coland Systems Technology-Cotabato, and Charliemae Quezada Talisic of Saint Theresa College-Tandag, each with a score of 90.80 percent.

PRC said that starting Sept. 30, registration for issuing Professional Identification Cards (IDs) and Certificates of Registration will be conducted online.

Applicants are advised to visit the PRC website for instructions on initial registration.

Those who register are required to bring the following: a downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or “Panunumpa ng Propesyonal,” notice of admission (for identification purposes only), two passport-sized pictures (colored, with a white background, and a complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope. 

Successful examinees are advised to register in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
