Schneider Electric has launched the APC Back-UPS Pro Gaming.
It is, what the company calls, its first gaming-focused uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for uninterrupted gameplay and gaming rig protection.
Basically, if the power goes out, you’ll have enough time to finish that un-skippable cutscene to save the game and safely turn off your rig. This seems like a pretty cool product to have. Trust me, I know the stress when the lights go off, and come back on, and wait as your console reboots, wondering if your save files have been corrupted or not. Like, yeesh.
“The APC Back-UPS Pro Gaming ensures continuous power protection, safeguarding gaming equipment from energy spikes and failures, even in areas with unstable power connections. Schneider Electric has provided an estimate runtime for the APC BackUPS Pro Gaming.

- Gaming Laptop: 20 mins
Of course, these are just estimates. These numbers should be enough to let you save your game.

- Twelve customizable RGB LED lights that you can tailor fit to your gaming rig aesthetics.
- A 160-degree slant for enhanced visibility from any angle and functional lighting alerts that pulse during power anomalies.
