First Lady Liza had a quiet birthday celebration in Baguio—PBBM


First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos likes to go on a quiet vacation during her birthdays.

Her husband, President Marcos, revealed this when asked how they celebrated the First Lady's birthday on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

"Ang birthday, si First Lady pag birthday niya nagtatago lagi. Gusto niya tahimik na tahimik lang, (The First Lady goes into hiding on her birthdays. She wants it to be extra quiet)," Marcos said in an interview on the sidelines of the meet and greet with Olympians at the Malacañan Palace on Thursday.

The President also shared that the First Lady already held a party last Thursday before she left for Baguio where she celebrated her birthday with their family.

"Ang party niya was last Thursday pa. Nag-birthday party na siya para makaalis na siya, makabakasyon na siya (Her party was held last Thursday. She already held a party so she can leave for vacation)," Marcos said.

"So that was. Galing lang ako dun, we came from Baguio. We stayed in Baguio for her birthday. Very quiet. Yun lang (That's all)," Marcos also shared.

On Wednesday, the President also took to social media to greet the First Lady Liza who is celebrating her 65th birthday.

"To my beautiful wife Liza Marcos, on this day, you deserve to slow down and be celebrated by those who hold you dearest," Marcos said in his Facebook post at exactly 12 a.m.

"Sandro, Simon, Vincent and I are most grateful for you. Happy birthday, my First Lady!," Marcos added.
