Rep. Tulfo, FPRRD retain top spots in Tangere’s August 2024 senatorial preference survey

ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo and former president Rodrigo Duterte continue to lead in Tangere’s senatorial preference survey conducted in August, reflecting their sustained popularity ahead of the May 2025 midterm elections.

In the survey results, Tulfo secured the top spot, receiving 56.29 percent of voter preference.

Duterte also maintained the second position with 47.83 percent of voter support.

Meanwhile, Senator Pia Cayetano moved into third place, up from fourth in July, with 44.5 percent of voter preference.

Former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, who was in third place in the July survey, dropped to fourth with 43.5 percent.

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go and broadcaster Ben Tulfo maintained the fifth and sixth spots, with 43.08 percent and 41.96 percent voter preference, respectively.

Former Senator Manny Pacquiao climbed from ninth to seventh place, with a voter preference of 38.04 percent.

Meanwhile, Senator Lito Lapid remained in eighth place with 34.71 percent voter preference.

Former Senator Panfilo Lacson moved up to ninth place, from 11th place, with 33 percent, while Senator Imee Marcos dropped from seventh to 10th, receiving 33.04 percent of voter support.

Senator Francis Tolentino and social media personality Dr. Willie Ong saw improved rankings, moving from 13th to 11th place with 32 percent, and from 14th to 12th place with 31.5 percent, respectively.

Just outside the top 12 are Makati City Mayor Abby Binay in 13th with 31 percent, Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa in 14th with 29.5 percent, and former Senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV in 15th with 29.42 percent.

The survey, conducted from Aug. 13 to 16, used a mobile-based respondent application with a sample size of 2,400 participants.
