P112-M shabu recovered on West Philippine Sea in Pangasinan

AGNO, Pangasinan – Shabu worth P112.2 million in a plastic drum was recovered by a 29-year-old fisherman from this town on the West Philippine Sea on Sunday, August 18.

A PLASTIC drum of suspected shabu was recovered in the West Philippine Sea in Bolinao, Pangasinan on Sunday, August 18.

The contraband weighing 16.5 kilograms was found floating 40 nautical miles west of Barangay Patar, Bolinao, Pangasinan.

The fisherman surrendered the item to Agno police personnel.

The Pangasinan Provincial Forensic Unit tested the substance and confirmed to be shabu.

Police have coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and other agencies to determine the source of the illicit substance.
