P1.2-M shabu seized from student in Sampaloc drug sting

The Manila Police District (MPD) seized a total of P1,020,000 worth of shabu from an 18-year-old student in a buy-bust operation in Sampaloc, Manila, on Tuesday, August 20.

Police identified the suspect as Mark Bullet Dela Rosa, 18, a resident of Paquita Street, Barangay 463, Sampaloc, Manila.

According to the police report, the suspect was arrested at 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday after he sold a small plastic sachet of shabu worth P200 to a poseur buyer.

Authorities discovered in his possession four more plastic sachets containing 150 grams of alleged shabu.

The suspect is currently under custody of the MPD Sampaloc police station and is now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165- Section 5 (Selling of Dangerous Drug) and Section 11 (Illegal Possession of Dangerous Drug).
