Itai Green, the visionary founder of Innovate Israel, concluded a successful media roundtable discussion on Aug. 8, 2024, in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The event, hosted by the Embassy of Israel and led by Ambassador Ilan Simon Fluss, gathered key media representatives, for a deep dive into Green's insights on the future of corporate innovation in the Philippines.
Green emphasized the importance of embracing innovation not just as a buzzword, but as a strategic imperative for long-term sustainability and growth. He highlighted how Filipino
corporations are increasingly aware of the necessity to innovate, especially in the face of emerging technologies and shifting market dynamics. However, he also noted the challenges that companies face in implementing effective innovation strategies, from cultural barriers to resource constraints.
The media roundtable discussion provided an intimate setting for a candid exchange of ideas, with Green addressing questions on how Philippine businesses can better
integrate innovation into their corporate DNA. He shared case studies from his work with
international clients, offering practical advice on how to overcome common hurdles in the innovation process.

One of the key takeaways from the discussion was Green’s vision for the Philippines as a rising hub for corporate innovation in Southeast Asia. He expressed optimism about the country’s potential, given its vibrant economy and growing pool of talent in the tech and creative industries. Green also stressed the importance of collaboration between corporations, startups, and government bodies to create an ecosystem that fosters continuous innovation.
As Green’s visit to the Philippines concluded, he left behind a clear message: the future of business lies in the ability to innovate. His call to action was clear—Filipino corporations must embrace change and drive innovation to secure their place in the global market.

During the two-hour session, Green, who is widely recognized for his work in promoting innovation within large corporations, shared his experiences and observations from his recent interactions with top executives from leading Filipino corporations and conglomerates.
