Aleah Finnegan glad to help aspiring gymnasts

In her own way of paying back the support of Filipinos during the recent Paris Olympics, Aleah Finnegan held a gymnastics clinic along with Emma Malabuyo at the GAP Gym in Intramuros, Manila.

In the program, Finnegan was joined by Gymnastics Association of the Philippines chief Cynthia Carrion and her mom, Linabelle, as she imparted her knowledge to more than 80 aspiring gymnasts.

“If you’re proud of your heritage, I think it’s the best way to showcase and give back,” said the 21-year-old Finnegan.

“To me, personally, this is the best way I can give back to the sacrifices that my family had given to me, and so I’m all for it,” she added.

The lovely gymnast from Missouri, USA was nothing but grateful for the blessings she had received.

“I’ve been fortunate and very blessed the year that I had, like the NCAA Championships and the [Paris] Olympics and I’m just blessed for the talent and able to showcase it,” she continued.

The LSU standout remained optimistic despite her brief stint in the French capital and instead turned her focus on bigger goals ahead.
