With the volume of cars continuously increasing in Tagaytay City especially during weekends, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has signed an agreement with the local government unit (LGU) for an interconnectivity in the single ticketing policy.
LTO chief, Assistant Secretary Vigor D. Mendoza II said that the LTO-LGU Interconnectivity System under the memorandum of agreement (MOA) he signed with Mayor Abraham N. Tolentino will lead to the streamlining of operations between the traffic enforcers of Tagaytay City and the agency.
“This MOA assures cooperation between your LTO and the City Government of Tagaytay to ensure seamless connectivity in terms of ensuring the implementation of traffic rules and regulations,” said Mendoza.
“This program is important to the City Government of Tagaytay especially that this City is one of the favorite vacation destinations of a lot of people from Metro Manila and nearby provinces,” he added.
Tolentino, for his part, said the collaboration is vital for promoting road discipline and enhancing public safety throughout the City.
“This memorandum of agreement is a significant step towards improved regulatory efficiency,” said Tolentino.
