A new drone from DJI is always exciting news.
DJI is probably one of the best names to start with drones. It’s perfect for beginners and great for enthusiasts. It’s the type of product that aims to get on as many hands as possible with its ease of use and experience.
While there is no official word yet, the upcoming DJI Neo keeps popping up in rumor-ville. Now there are leaks. And from what we’re seeing, the DJI Neo is the most beginner-friendly drone yet.
What little we know about it involves that the DJI Neo will be lighter than a smartphone. It will also have a flight time of up to 18 minutes if the propellers are equipped with guards. Because of course, they add weight.
Camera involves a 12MP lens and you can shoot between 4K and 1080p for 30 and 60fps.
Based on the leaks, the DJI Neo will be more of a selfie camera drone. Meaning, if you’re in the midst of some cool backdrop, you can let the DJI Neo take flight from your palm and nab that photo of you and your friends or family in that cool background.
A companion app, where you can control the DJI Neo, will be available.
We’ll have to wait for official news if these specs are accurate, along with pricing and availability. If we have to guess, maybe sometime early to mid September. We’ll be keeping a lookout for this one.
