Cook stabbed to death in Batangas

SAN JUAN, Batangas – A laborer allegedly stabbed a 59-year-old cook to death during a heated argument in Barangay Mabanoy, this town, on Monday night, August 19.

Police identified the victim as Ariel Baña.

Investigation said Baña and the suspect, Marcelito Tejada, 57, had an altercation and drew a knife tucked on his waist.

The victim attempted to stab Tejada who grabbed the knife from the victim and stabbed him several times in the body.

Baña was taken to a hospital here where he was declared dead.

The suspect fled with the murder weapon and now the subject of a  manhunt.
