Shawarma Shack serves hope, help to 'Carina'-affected areas in Marilao, Bulacan
The combined effects of Super Typhoon Carina (international name: Gaemi) and the southwest monsoon has caused severe flooding in the country, claiming lives, wounding dozens more and displacing hundreds of thousands of people.
Marilao, Bulacan was one of the many areas severely affected by typhoon Carina. Learning the situation of the area, the Shawarma Shack Relief Operations team, headed by Walther Uzi Buenavista, immediately reached out to Marilao, Bulacan to coordinate with the local government units to deliver and distribute relief goods.

The Shawarma Shack Relief Operations team went to Nagbalon, Marilao, Bulacan, bringing trucks' worth of food packages and clean drinking water. They have been welcomed by Barangay Capt. Adrian J. Espiritu and helped the team for proper distribution of the goods.

Clean drinking water were also distributed to the residents of Barangay Nagbalon, Marilao, Bulacan.
With much gratitude, hundreds of families came out to welcome the Shawarma Shack Relief Operations team, knowing that they would be receiving help from the company, last July 28, 2024.

In times of natural calamities affecting hundreds of Filipinos, the Shawarma Shack Relief Operations team showed compassion as a way of giving back to everyone who has supported the growth of their company as for every product purchased from them a portion of the earnings are being used to fund certain causes like this by its “Shawarma Shack Cares” program.
