Over P400K worth of marijuana seized in Bulacan

An estimated P480,000 worth of marijuana was confiscated in Bulacan by the Bulacan police on Thursday, August 1.

Based on the police report, the drug sting operation was conducted by the Guiguinto Police around 3 a.m. in Brgy. Tuktukan, Guiguinto, Bulacan which led to the arrest of alias Joshua, 21.

Recovered from the suspect were one plastic containing dried leaves and fruiting tops of suspected marijuana, four pieces of compressed cylinder with dried leaves and fruiting tops of suspected marijuana weighing approximately 4,000 grams and with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P480,000 along with the buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, three more drug peddlers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of the Marilao and Malolos City Police wherein 12 sachets of suspected shabu and marked money were confiscated during the operation.

The arrested suspects were immediately detained while the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for examination. Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
