No. 1 most wanted in Western Visayas caught in Antique

LOILO CITY – The most wanted person in Western Visayas region was caught in Valderrama town, Antique province on Wednesday, July 31.

Ronald, 40, was arrested by the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) in Antique and the Valderrama Municipal Police Station on a warrant of arrest for murder. No bail was recommended for the suspect.

The Police Regional Office-6 lauded the suspect’s arrest.

Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, PRO-6 chief, said the suspect’s apprehension was a good way to end the month of July.

Wanky challenged police units in the region to go after other wanted persons.

PRO-6 said 12 wanted persons were arrested in July, three of who were considered as most wanted, including Ronald.
