Mang Inasal plans 20 new store openings this year

Mang Inasal, a prized brand under the Jollibee Group, has announced plans to open 20 new branches in the country this year.

In a statement on Friday, Aug. 2, Mike V. Castro, Mang Inasal president, said that six Mang Inasal branches have already been open in the first half of the year, with an additional 14 stores may open in the latter half.

"We will continue to expand in areas where Mang Inasal is most wanted,” Castro said.

At end-June, newly opened branches were located in Sogod, Southern Leyte; Dasmariñas Paliparan in Cavite; Waltermart Baliwag in Bulacan; Visayas Avenue, Quezon City; Calasiao, Pangasinan; and SM City Caloocan.

Castro said that the Mang Inasal branch on Visayas Avenue is the first store in Metro Manila to incorporate solar energy into its operations.

In addition to solar panel-mounted rooftops, he said the store has communal seating designed for groups, a self-service condiment station, an outdoor dining area, and smart lockers for delivery order pickups by riders.

"As we grow, our customers' voices will remain our main source of innovation and improvement," Castro said.

"Wherever they are, we are committed to serving them great Ihaw-Sarap food that makes them happy with every visit and every order,” he concluded.
