Being the youngest member of Team Philippines in the Paris Games, Levi Jung Ruivivar definitely turned heads with a fearless performance coupled with a lovely attitude.

Ruivivar’s prowess evolved throughout the years after starting to compete in elite level from when she was seven years old and up to this moment where she had to perform it on the biggest of all stages in the French capital.
Despite a short-lived campaign in the lovely city of Paris, the 18-year-old Stanford freshman is setting her sights on a productive journey toward the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
“This is only the beginning of this journey. I can’t wait to see what’s next for me and this experience has just motivated me further to continue as an elite gymnast going into college at Stanford University this fall,” Ruivivar wrote on her social media post Thursday, Aug. 1.
“I am going to give my all to this sport because it means so much to me and I know it always will! LA 2028 here I come[!], she added.
Ruivivar donned the tricolors along with teammates Aleah Finnegan and Emma Malabuyo. The rising Fil-American trio shattered the 60-year dry spell for Filipina gymnasts in the quadrennial meet.
It can be remembered that days before her competition, Ruivivar faced a health scare as she suffered an allergy while staying at the Olympic Village. Thanks to Finnegan and Gymnastics Association of the Philippines chief Cynthia Carreon, she was immediately treated by the medical staff.
