Motorcycle passenger hurt in EDSA busway accident

A man was injured when a motorcycle collided with a bus along the Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue (EDSA) carousel bus lane on North Avenue in Quezon City on Monday morning, August 19.

According to initial reports, the motorcycle was hit by the bus when it suddenly entered the carousel lane.

The motorcycle passenger fell to the ground and was run over by the bus. He was unresponsive when the authorities responded.

The motorcycle driver said his passenger was in a hurry and they agreed to enter the bus lane.

According to the initial investigation, the rider allegedly tried to make a U-turn when the accident happened.
