Ilocos region's 7th most wanted nabbed

CAMP FLORENDO, La Union â€“ Police arrested the seventh most wanted person in the Ilocos region in Pinili, Ilocos Norte on Saturday, August 17.

The 60-year-old suspect was charged with two counts of statutory rape. No bail was recommended for his temporary freedom.

He was taken to the Pinili police station prior his turnover to the court.

The suspect was checked and marked as arrested in the PNP Enhanced E-Warrant and National Police Clearance System.

Police Brig. Gen. Lou F. Evangelista, Ilocos police chief, lauded his men for arresting the suspect and reminded them to continue maintaining the safety and security of the region.
