310 wanted persons nabbed in Western Visayas

ILOILO CITY – Police arrested 310 wanted persons in Western Visayas from August 1 to 15.

The Police Regional Office-6 said they were apprehended in 287 operations.

Forty-four were most wanted persons and 266 were other wanted persons (OWPs).

“The arrest of these law violators is of great help in the decrease of our crime volume. I encourage cops to closely work with the community for us to locate the remaining wanted in the region,” said PRO-6 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky in a statement on Sunday, August 18.

The Negros Police Provincial Office caught 136 suspects, followed by the Iloilo Police Provincial Office with 56, Antique Police Provincial Office, 30; Bacolod City Police Office and Iloilo City Police Office with 24 each; Capiz Police Provincial Office, 19; Regional Mobile Force Battalion-6, three, and Guimaras Police Provincial Office, one.
