The Fun Farm Tour and the Seafood Tour aim to showcase the vibrant agricultural landscape and innovative farming practices of Northern Samar, providing unique experiences for local and international visitors, said Josette Doctor, the provincial chief tourism operations officer.
Doctor presented the concept to department heads at the recent third quarter development cluster meeting.
The Provincial Tourism Office, in collaboration with the Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO) and the Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (PEDIPO), will promote the Fun Farm Tour in the municipalities of Mondragon, Silvino Lobos, San Roque, and Pambujan.
These towns are known for their agricultural abundance and will offer activities such as food tasting, farming and food processing tours, and homestay experiences.
On the other hand, the Seafood Tour will feature the towns of San Jose and Rosario, renowned for their delicious mud crabs, fresh fish, spider shells, squid, shrimp, and other delectable seafood.
The tour will feature diving, fishing, food processing, and ocean-to-table food-tasting experiences.
These circuits will complement existing ones, including the Balicuatro Island Hopping Tour, Eco-Tour, Along the River Cruise, and the Pacific Tour, and provide diverse attractions for tourists visiting Northern Samar.
