Calabarzon's most wanted nabbed after trying to get police clearance in Antipolo

A 50-year-old man was arrested by members of the Antipolo City Police after he was discovered to be Calabarzon region's most wanted individual after trying to request for a police clearance on Wednesday, August 14.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the suspect as "Ben," a resident of Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City.

Based on the police report, Ben was applying for a National Police Clearance when the database showed that he has a warrant without bail for the crime of murder issued by the Regional Trial Court in Malolos City, Bulacan on November 9, 2021.

Further police investigation showed that Ben hid in Antipolo after killing his partner in Bulacan in 2021.

The officer manning the police clearance lane of the station immediately informed the station's warrant team to issue Ben's arrest warrant. He is now detained at the Antipolo Custodial Facility.
