It was a star-studded celebration to cap 35 years of Wacoal in the Philippines. The event, held at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila, gave essence to the brand's commitment to empowering women by celebrating achievers in their field. 

The first part consisted of the Philippine Wacoal Awarding Ceremony, which honored the suppliers, dealers, employees, and all the other partners the brand worked with through the years. 

Wacoal Philippines President Ann Christine Palisoc led the recognition rites for their partners, together with Mr. Takehiko Yonekawa, Head of Asia Sales, and Wacoal PH Marketing Director Elmira Cadungog.

The awarding was hosted by Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco with a special serenade performed by singer-composer Miguel Mendoza, known for his hit song "Isa Pang Araw."

The highlight of the evening was the sneak peek of Wacoal's new product collection for 2024 which was presented through a fashion show and the gala night. Four successful female icons walked the ramp during the show. These included trailblazing entrepreneur Glenda de la Cruz, actress and breast cancer survivor Glenda Garcia, award-winning drama queen Lorna Tolentino and inspirational diva Jamie Rivera.

"Wacoal: 35 Years of Celebrating Every Woman" also featured an art exhibit by Celeste Lecaroz and a pop-up by the notable artists of Shape Women Org. Dubbed "Journey of Wonder Women 2," the gallery was filled with eye-catching paintings of celebrity artists Elizabeth Oropesa, Nadia Montenegro, Mickey Ferriols, Melissa Mendez, Hemilyn Tamayo, Cas Lib, Pam Diel, Zarina Krishna and Zara Near.

The one-day celebration was organized by V-Works Events Management, headed by its CEO and celebrity mom Bianca Lapus. Bianca's showbiz friends were in attendance to give their full support. These included  Ms. Eva Darren, Janice and Gelli De Belen, Candy Pangilinan, Arlene Muhlach, Gladys Reyes, Ashley Ortega, Lindsay Custodio, Nathalie Hart, Isay Alvarez, Gee Canlas, Marissa Sanchez and many more!
