Recipients of these vehicles – purchased for P6 million – were Barangays VF Gustilo, Celestino Villacin, Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4, and Zone 6, Mayor Salvador Escalante Jr. said.
He said the recipients were provided the best and most convenient facility to transport patients or any victims of disasters.
These vehicles also mean a brand-new approach in public service, especially on dealing with emergency cases, he added.
“In the advent of challenging times prone to various disasters – natural or man-made – we also need to apprise our people with our newly appraised services meant for their good and convenience," Escalante said.
The mayor said these vehicles remind the people of Cadiz that the city government is always with them in time of disaster or emergency cases.
