Pagdanganan improves to career-high world rankings

In the updated rankings as of Monday, Aug. 12, the two-time Olympian jumped 19 notches from No. 125 after almost making it into the podium with a joint fourth-place finish in Paris.

She, along with three others, were one stroke behind eventual gold medalist Li Xiyu of China.

Prior to this ranking, Pagdanganan went as high as No. 113 this year after a 41^st place finish at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship held late in June.

In the LPGA scene, her best finish this year was a joint seventh place showing at the Mizuho Americas Open last May.

Dottie Ardina also improved 30 notches from No. 262 to No. 232 after finishing tied for 13^th place in the Olympics.

It was her best ranking this year after starting the year at No. 316.

She ranked as high as No. 207 after winning the Copper Rock Championship in April 2022.

Meanwhile, Fil-Japanese Yuka Saso remained at No. 10 despite finishing 54^th in Paris where she represented Japan.
