PhilHealth allocates P239M to Quezon City government for health initiatives
In support of local medical services, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has allocated P239 million to the Quezon City government.

PhilHealth President and CEO Emmanuel R. Ledesma, Jr. personally handed the check to Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, underscoring the state insurer’s commitment to enhancing the city’s healthcare services.
The funds will be distributed primarily to three Quezon City-run hospitals: P101.57 million to Quezon City General Hospital, P58.03 million to Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital, and P47.74 million to Novaliches District Hospital.
Additional reimbursements will be provided to various health facilities, including P11 million for the Quezon City Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, P10 million for Quezon City Social Hygiene, P7 million for Quezon City Klinika, and P98,000 for Quezon City Lying-in Clinic.
Quezon City Konsulta Health Centers will also receive P2.05 million to support the implementation of PhilHealth’s Konsulta or Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama package.
Residents registered with Quezon City Konsulta Health Centers can benefit from consultations, health screenings, essential drugs and medicines, and laboratory procedures under the Konsulta Package.
The ceremonial turnover took place at the recent LAB for All event held at the Risen Garden in Quezon City.
