Taytay police seize illegal drugs

More than ₱200,000 worth of illegal drugs was seized by the Taytay Police Station following a buy-bust operation in Taytay, Rizal early Monday, August 12.

The office of Rizal Police Provincial Office Director Col. Felipe Maraggun said the suspect, alias Adonis, 53, was arrested by operatives after yielding six packs of suspected shabu during the drug sting on Don Hilario Avenue, in Barangay San Juan of the municipality, shortly after midnight on August 12.

The arrested suspect is now detained at the Taytay Custodial Facility while charges of violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him.
