The Pasay City government said that everything is set for the heroes' welcome for Filipino Olympians who brought pride and honor to the country in the recently concluded Paris Olympics.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said coordination was already made between owners of business establishments located along the route of the parade and the city's Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) for the installation of congratulatory and greeting banners.

Rubiano will be joined by Rep. Antonino Calixto in welcoming the athletes at the Aliw Theater.

She said additional personnel from the Traffic Parking and Management Office (TPMO) will be deployed from Aliw Theater to Quirino Avenue where the motorcade will pass in going to Rizal Memorial Coliseum to ensure the smooth flow of the parade.

Symphony bands will also perform in front of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in welcoming the Filipino Olympians.

Rubiano added that members of the Pasay City Environment and Natural Resources Office (PCENRO) will also deploy personnel to maintain the cleanliness at the PICC area and Roxas Boulevard.

Around 100 police personnel will be deployed around the vicinity of the Aliw Theater to ensure the safety and security of the attendees and athletes.

The city government advised motorists to avoid the areas where the motorcade will pass starting at 3:30 p.m. and take alternate routes going to their destinations.
