Pack of shabu found floating in Batangas

LIAN, Batangas – Police recovered a pack of suspected shabu weighing one kilo and worth P6.8 million floating on the shoreline in Sitio Ligtasin, Barangay Luyahan, this town, on Tuesday morning, August 13.

An employee found a gray vacuum-sealed plastic with Chinese characters while cleaning the premises of a resort.

He opened it and discovered white crystalline substance inside in a transparent plastic container.

The employee reported his discovery to Patricio deles Reyes, head of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.

Police have taken custody of the contraband.

Several of these contraband worth millions of pesos have been found in the Ilocos region in the past months.
