P2-M shabu seized in Iloilo buy-busts

ILOILO CITY – The Iloilo Police Provincial Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit seized suspected shabu valued at P2 million in buy-bust operations in a span of two hours in Tigbauan town, Iloilo province on Monday, August 13.

Lawmen confiscated 180 grams of shabu worth P1.24 million from a suspected drug pusher, alias JG, considered a high-value individual, at 3 p.m.

Two hours later at 5 p.m., two suspected drug pushers, Mike and VL, were apprehended. One-hundred grams of suspected shabu were seized but their companion fled.

“I commend the exemplary performance of our operating team,” said Police Col. Bayani Razalan, IPPO director.

The IPPO thanked the people for cooperating with them in the arrest of the suspects.

“Let us continue our collaboration for a more secure, drug-free, and progressive Iloilo,” said Razalan.
