P1.08-M worth of shabu seized in Tondo drug sting

More than P1 million worth of shabu was seized from a 42-year-old man during a drug sting operation  in Tondo, Manila on Monday, August 12.

The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the suspect as Reynaldo Arcilla, a resident of Sta. Rita Street, Tondo, Manila.

Police said the suspect was arrested inside his house where they recovered P1,088,000 worth of shabu placed in three plastic sachets.

A caliber .45 Armscor pistol loaded with six pieces live ammunition and a .45 MK2 fragmentation hand grenade were also recovered from the suspect..

The suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), the police added.
