Choco Mucho regained its old form and stunned Chery Tiggo, 25-16, 25-11, 23-25, 19-25, 15-12, to end its losing skid in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City Tuesday, Aug. 13.

The Flying Titans squandered a two-set lead but recovered just in time in the final frame anchored on Mean Mendrez and Dindin Manabat to boost their quarterfinal bid.
Mendrez pumped in 18 points while Manabat chipped in 17 points for Choco Mucho, which halted its two-game slide and improved to 2-4 to tie with Farm Fresh.
Maddie Madayag and Zoi Faki contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively.
"To win in five [sets] is a great win to prove ourselves. We've been in the first round -- those two games we played in five and we lost,” Faki said.
"But we improved, and this kind of win shows our work ethic in practice and I'm super happy and proud of my team," she added.
Surprisingly, the Dante Alinsunurin-squad made an impressive showing in both ends, denying each attack from the Crossovers that caused the low-scoring output for the latter team.
However, Chery Tiggo rose from the dust thanks to Kath Bell and Ponggay Gaston, who were carrying the offensive loads to force an extended set.
But Mendrez and Manabat took matters into their own hands for Choco Mucho in the deciding fifth set.
Bell, as expected, sizled with 25 points, while Gaston and Ara Galang conspired for 23 points for Chery Tiggo, which fell to a 4-2 card to tie with Capital1.
