P1.7-M shabu seized from 2 vendors in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY â€“ Two vendors were arrested and 255 grams of suspected shabu worth P1.7 million was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Singcang-Airport here on Sunday, August 11.

The Philippine National Police (PNP)-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG)-Special Operations Unit (SOU)-Western Visayas identified the suspects as Madam, 54, and her 39-year-old live-in partner.

The woman was tagged as a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade.

Evidence was turned over to the Negros Occidental Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.

Suspects are detained at Police Station 8 and face appropriate charges.

Meanwhile, the Police Station 8 confiscated suspected shabu valued at P2 million from a couple and their companion in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tangub here on Saturday, August 10.
