BamBam tops weekly album chart; UNIS, Sanha, L, ENHYPEN in top 5

BamBam grabbed the No. 1 spot on the weekly album chart in South Korea with his new album. 

The Thai singer and member of K-pop group GOT7 released his third mini-album “Bamesis” on Aug. 8. 

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “Bamesis” is the No. 1 album for the weekly chart covering the period Aug. 5 to 11. 

“Bamesis” garnered total sales of 65,831 copies or an equivalent of 84,323 in physical record index, a combination of total sales and album price used by Hanteo to rank albums.

Placing second is K-pop girl group UNIS’ “Curious” album with 59,553 copies in sales and 58,620 in physical record index. 

K-pop boy band ASTRO member Yoon Sanha’s first mini-album “Dusk” is No. 3 with 39,656 copies and 55,518 in physical record index. 

Infinite member L (Kim Myung-soo) is No. 4 with his first mini-album “24/7” selling 45,850 copies or 47,462 in physical record index. 

ENHYPEN’s “Romance : Untold” is No. 5 with 33,174 copies sold or 40,274 in physical record index. 

Here are the top 20 on Hanteo Chart’s weekly physical album chart for Aug. 5 to 11 based on physical record index: 

1. GOT7s’ BamBam - BAMESIS - 65,831 copies (total sales)  / 84,323 (physical record index)
