4 Indian nationals arrested for theft in Parañaque

Four Indian nationals were arrested after they were caught stealing money from the desk of their fellow employee at a corporate office in Parañaque City last Sunday.

Police identified the suspects as alias Reza, 28; Hendra, 34; Kepri, 30; and Yoga, 23.

The police said the suspects were arrested at around 10:00 a.m. inside their office located in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque city.

The victim, identified as alias Ting, 29, a Malaysian, claimed the suspects were all his fellow employees in a corporate office recruiting foreigners to invest in their company.

The victim said prior to the incident, he went downstairs to collect a food delivery and left the P20,000 cash on his desk inside their office.

He said that when he went back to the office, the suspects were inside his cubicle and saw Hendra distributing the money to three other companions.      

The victims immediately called for assistance from the company’s security personnel who arrested the four suspects.

Recovered from the suspects were the P20,000 cash which they equally divided among themselves.
