ZAMBOANGA CITY – Two housing projects under the government's Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH) kicked off here on Saturday, August 10.

Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Acuzar, Mayor John Dalipe, House Majority Leader Zamboanga City Rep. Mannix Dalipe, National Housing Authority chief Joeben Tai, and other housing officials led the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement and groundbreaking ceremony.
The first project, Vinta Residencia, is a condominium-type development in a 14-hectare property in Barangay Salaan. The groundbreaking ceremony ushered in the implementation of the first phase of the project which consists of 1,600 units. A total of 2,327 units are expected to be completed within four years.
The second project, Sikat Highpark Residencia, is another condominium-type development in Sitio Luyahan, Barangay Pasonanca that will prioritize government employees as beneficiaries. It consists of 6,400 units and implementation will be handled by the National Housing Authority.
The housing projects, described as modern but affordable, is partly subsidized by the national government.
Also present during the groundbreaking were DHSUD Undersecretaries Avelino Tolentino III and Garry V. de Guzman and Assistant Secretary Melissa Aradanas, DHSUD Regional Director Roland Eta, NHA RD Al-Khwarizmi Indanan, Metro Stonerich Chief Operating Office Ibrahim Nuño, Zamboanga City Vice Mayor Pinpin Pareja, and city councilors.
