At least 1,500 patients in Rizal province have benefitted from the free medical services under the Lab for All program of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
The First Lady brought the free medical services program to Rizal province on Thursday, Aug. 8.
"So our team will be here today to assist 1,500 more patients. We hope you are able to benefit from this," First Lady Liza said.
In her speech, she said the program is the Marcos administration's way of showing love to the Filipino people.
"Three weeks ago, my husband (President Marcos) had his SONA (State of the Nation Address) in Quezon City and sabi po niya: dapat mahalin natin ang Pilipinas, dapat mahalin natin yung Pilipino (And he said we must love the Philippines, we must love the Filipino people)," the First Lady said.
"So this is our small way of showing our love for our Filipino people," she added.
The Lab for All program is an outreach physical and medical examination with laboratory tests and distribution of medicines to the communities.
