Filipinos are eagerly anticipating the homecoming of Olympian Carlos Yulo as he returns on Tuesday, Aug. 13, after an impressive performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Who would be the ideal cast for Carlos's life story if it were made into a movie? Director Benedict Mique, the creative mind behind "Lolo and the Kid" on Netflix, offered valuable suggestions.

Jak Roberto

For the role of Carlos, Benedict believes that the role would suit Jak Roberto "in terms of physique."

Benedict said: "Medyo mahirap hanapan ng artista kasi malaki katawan niya. What about Jak Roberto? Sa present sa bata hindi ko alam."

Klea Pineda

For the role of Carlos's girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, the director suggested Klea Pineda. "Dapat mas matangkad yung girl kay Carlos."

For the role of Angelica Yulo, the director said Rosanna Roces is well-suited to play the controversial mother of Carlos.

Angelica and her son Carlo are fighting over a financial issue, although they have forgiven each other in recent statements.
