Bulacan police seize P400K worth of shabu from 10 drug peddlers

The Bulacan police confiscated more than P400,000 worth of shabu from the 10 drug suspects they arrested during the buy-bust operations on August 9 and 10.
Based on the reports submitted to PCol. Satur L. Ediong, Bulacan police officer-in-charge of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), San Jose Del Monte City police conducted an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Grace Ville at about 9 p.m. on August 9, which resulted in the arrest of six drug suspects.
A total of 13 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 60 grams worth around P408,000, and the buy-bust money were seized.
Meanwhile, four more drug peddlers were arrested in different buy-bust operations carried out by the SDEUs of Baliuag, Angat, and Balagtas police. The SDEUs confiscated eight sachets of suspected shabu and marked money during the operation.
The arrested drug suspects and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for examination.
Criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act 9165 against the arrested suspects have been prepared for filing in court.
There were also seven persons wanted for various crimes and offenses were arrested by tracker teams of the Sta. Maria, Calumpit, Bocaue, Pandi, and Bulakan police.
Five individuals were caught in the act of engaging in "cara-y-cruz” game in Brgy. Bagong Buhay, CSJDM, Bulacan.
The authorities apprehended the individuals and confiscated “pangara” (coins) and bet money in different denominations. The suspects are presently under the custody of the arresting units and stations.
