Premier Volleyball League (PVL) president Ricky Palou takes on a new role, this time as the chairman of the Alas Pilipinas team program,Philippine National Volleyball Federation(PNVF) President Ramon “Tats” Suzara announced in a statement last Wednesday, July 31.

Premier Volleyball League (PVL) president Ricky Palou takes on a new role, this time as the chairman of the Alas Pilipinas team program, Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) President Ramon “Tats” Suzara announced in a statement last Wednesday, July 31.
Palou will be replacing Tonyboy Liao for the said position and it will be effective starting Thursday, Aug. 1.
“In line with the new structure and operational model covering the High-Performance National Teams for Volley and Beach Volleyball, the Chairmanship of the PNVF National Team shall now be designated to Mr. Richard N. Palou,” the PNVF wrote.
“Mr. Palou shall be in charge of the Alas Pilipinas National Team Program, covering both training and competition platforms, in correspondence with corporate sponsors and empowerment grants provided by FIVB and the Olympic Solidarity Programme,” it continued.
The PVL chief will continue his duty as vice president of the federation while working with Alas Pilipinas teams.
It includes indoor and outdoor volleyball programs of the national team.
