Lisa's 'Rockstar' debuts on Billboard Hot 100 chart

BLACKPINK member Lisa’s hard work for her new single “Rockstar” paid off as it debuted on Billboard charts. 

Lisa released “Rockstar” on June 28 along with a music video that has garnered over 91 million views on YouTube as of this writing.

Lisa's "Rockstar" debuted at Nos. 1 and 4 on the July 13-dated Billboard Global Excl. US and Billboard Global 200 charts (Billboard) 

“Rockstar” debuted at No. 70 on the July 13-dated Billboard Hot 100, Lisa’s highest rank on the chart among all her releases. 

Billboard Charts stated that the “Rockstar” is “the highest-charting solo song of her career. She previously charted with ‘Lalisa’ (No. 84 peak) and ‘Money’ (No. 90), both in 2021.”

Meanwhile, “Rockstar” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. US and No. 4 on the Billboard Global 200. 

“LISA’s ‘Rockstar’ arrives at No. 1 on Global Excl. U.S. with 94.2 million streams and 44,000 sold outside the U.S. June 28-July 4, following its June 27 release,” Billboard reported. 

She is the third member of BLACKPINK to grab a No. 1 solo spot on the chart. 

The Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts are “based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the United States.”

“Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations,” according to Billboard.
