Female drug suspect arrested during Oplan Galugad in Pasay City

A 29-year-old woman was arrested by members of the Pasay City police Substation 4 in possession of P136,000 worth of shabu on Tuesday, July 9.

Pasay City police chief Col. Samuel Pabonita reported to the Southern Police District (SPD) the arrest of alias Carol at around 9:00 a.m. in Barangay 127, Pasay City.

Pabonita said members of the Pasay police Substation 4 were conducting Oplan Galugad against lawless elements when they spotted the suspect acting suspiciously.

He said confiscated from the suspect were 20 grams of shabu which were placed inside four plastic sachets worth P136,000.

The suspect was immediately detained at the police custodial facility after her arrest and charged for illegal possession of drugs.

The confiscated drugs were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
