The Bulacan Provincial Police Office's (BPPO) intensified anti-crime operations conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 9 and 10, have led to the arrest of at least 19 law offenders.
In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, a drug-sting operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Marilao, Norzagaray, and San Jose Del Monte City Police Station resulted in the arrest of seven drug peddlers.
Confiscated from the arrested suspects were 24 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit. Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, 10 individuals wanted for various crimes and offenses were apprehended in a manhunt operation conducted by tracker teams from the Bulacan 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Police Force (PMFC, Meycauayan, Provincial Intelligence Unit, San Jose Del Monte, CIDG, Norzagaray, Pulilan, Meycauayan, San Miguel, and Hagonoy police.
The arrested suspects have been placed under the custody of the arresting units and stations.
Authorities of Baliwag and the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) Police Station responded to a separate crime incident that resulted in the arrest of two law offenders.
They were identified as alias Jimmy who was arrested for robbery in Brgy. Poblacion, Baliwag, and alias Mariper, who was arrested for theft in Brgy Maharlika, CSJDM. Criminal complaints against the two suspects were being prepared for filing in the courts, as of this writing.
