Thieves rob house in exclusive subdivision

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna â€“ A house in an exclusive subdivision here was robbed of P1.4 million in cash and jewelry on Sunday, July 7.

Police said that the robbery was discovered by a resident when he arrived.

The lock of the master's bedroom on the second floor was destroyed and personal belongings were scattered on the floor.

Carted away were two watches worth P700,000, pieces of jewelry, and P500,000 cash.

Police said the suspects gained entry through the back door left unlocked by another resident of the house.

Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
