The Porsche for four is back, now in its third generation. The four-door sportscar from the German marque ups the ante with improved comfort, high performance, and more advanced features.

The 2024 Panamera is initially being offered with a V6 engine. The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid with the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 and hybrid system will be offered later in the year.

The Panamera still bears Porsche’s traditional silhouette, and integrates styling from the current generation of Porsches, including the headlights with the signature four-point DRLs. Behind is the broad LED taillight that stretches across the tailgate. It rolls on 20 inches as standard with 21-inch wheels available as an option.

Powering the Panamera is a 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 engine that produces 353-horsepower and 500-Nm. It’s paired with an eight-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) dual clutch automatic and Sport Chrono package. This allows it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 272 km/h.

Inside, the vehicle bears the new Porsche Driver Experience cockpit concept, which places vital controls within easy reach. The dashboard features a digital LCD instrument cluster while twin LCD screens are mounted flush behind a glass panel on the center dash and passenger side.

The rest of the interior features premium materials and obsessive attention to detail that makes for a sporty, yet high tech and elegant interior. No need to slam the doors shut as all doors come with a soft-close feature.

The Panemera can be a delight to drive with 14-way power adjustable front seats. Those that opt to be driven will still enjoy the eight-way power adjustable individual rear seats. There’s front and rear seat ventilation, four zone climate control, electric sun blinds, and a Bose Surround Sound system.

If these aren’t enough, buyers can opt for the optional panoramic sunroof and extended headrests for the rear.
