Malacañang has declared Aug. 15, 2024 as a special non-working day in Bulacan to celebrate the province's founding anniversary.
President Marcos made the declaration through Proclamation No. 625 which was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin with the authority of the President.
According to the proclamation, the province will mark its founding anniversary, thus declaring the date as a special non-working day will give the people of Bulacan to participate in the celebration.
"[I]t is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Bulacan be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration," Marcos said in the proclamation.
It was signed on July 5.
