Long bus rides back to the province can be something to looked forward to. GV Florida Transport, Inc. is now offering a sleeper bus option on its Manila to Tuguegarao route and vice versa. The buses used are the Scania K360 Coach Bus sourced from BJ Mercantile Inc. (BJM), distributor of Scania trucks and buses in the Philippines.
GV Florida Transport Inc. has purchased an initial 23 units of the Scania K360 Coach Bus for 2024. Four of these are in the Sleeper Bus configuration and the rest are a combination of Deluxe and Super Deluxe.
The Executive Sleeper Bus traverses the Manila to Tuguegarao and vice versa routes for a price of P1,800.

Business class on wheels
It’s evident that the passengers’ comfort has been put in top priority. The bus features 23 spacious and comfortable executive sleeper beds equipped, each with a headrest pillow. Each space gets an individual USB charging ports, two cupholders, and dual color light. There’s also a tablet per space with headphones so passengers can watch movies, listen to music or play games.
To ensure privacy, each space comes with an aisle curtain that can be closed. Passengers get complementary snacks and beverage, complimentary blankets, and a shoe bag. There’s also wifi onboard, as well as a well-maintained on-board restroom. There’s also onboard CCTV cameras and a dashcam for safety and security.
Capable platform
The sleeper bus is built on the Scania K360 platform which is powered by a 360-horsepower direct injection Euro-5 compliant engine. It produces as much as 1,750-Nm of torque. It’s paired with a Scaniaopticruise semi-automatic gearbox with manual mode. The transmission has highly efficient automated gear changing and driving modes for reduced fuel consumption.
The K360 also comes with a comprehensive safety suite like standard a electronic stability program (ESP) to constantly monitor traction and stability in slippery conditions, secondary brakes (retarder and exhaust brakes), hill hold control, as well as cruise control.
In addition, Scania also offers after sales support and a service contract package with Fleet Management System and Driver Training programs , as well as 24/7 Service Assistance for fleet customers.
