Parañaque LGU launches 'Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan'

The city government of Parañaque launched on Monday, July 8, the “Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan” aimed at helping residents buy school supplies and other products at cheaper costs.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the launching of the activity is also part of the city government’s observance of the 50th National Nutrition Month.
Olivarez said the activity will be held at the Parañaque City Hall grounds from July 8 to 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
He said 19 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) participated in the activity, which was made possible through the City Nutrition Office and the Consumers Office.
The mayor said 19 MSMEs will be selling farm products, frozen foods, and school supplies, bags, uniforms and shoes.
Olivarez is inviting the public to visit the City Hall grounds to buy the products of 19 MSMEs, which are being sold at a cheaper price.
