Mayor Gatchalian leads inauguration of WES events space

Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian on Saturday, July 6, led the inauguration of the third WES events space in Barangay Canumay West.

The inauguration was also attended by Canumay West Punong Barangay and Liga ng mga Barangay President, Councilor Mario San Andres, Councilors Ramon Encarnacion, Cris Feliciano, and other Barangay and SK Officials.

 

The project aims to provide affordable events place for the Valenzuelanos.

 

The WES events space is a three-storey building with a lot area of 2,040 square meters and a floor area of 2,511 square meters.

 

It has an events hall, basketball court equipped with shower rooms and toilets, administrative office and parking area.

 

"Gusto po nating gawing mas maayos na lugar ang Valenzuela para sa lahat, isang lugar na may ospital, isang lugar na may unibersidad, lugar na hindi tayo takot na umuwi nang gabi dahil ligtas na at marami pang iba, kaya sana ay tulungan ninyo ako gawing mas liveable city ang ating lungsod (We want to make Valenzuela a better place for everyone, a place with a hospital, a place with a university, a place where we are not afraid to go home at night because it is safe and many other things, so please help me make our city a more livable city,” Mayor Gatchalian said.

 

The cost for the first three hours of rent of the events place, including ingress and egress, is P6,000, with an additional charge of P 1,500 for each succeeding hour.

 

There is a reservation fee of  P1,000, which is deductible from the total fee.

 

The other WES events spaces are located at Barangay Dalandanan and Lawang Bato.
