Parañaque cops arrested wanted person in Quezon City

A man who was ordered to undergo drug rehabilitation was arrested by members of the Parañaque City Police in Quezon City on Friday, July 5.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the city police chief, Col. Melvin Motante, reported the arrest of alias Mark, 36, in Novaliches, Quezon City at around 5:40 p.m..

The SPD said the Parañaque Martime Law Enforcement Team and the Parañaque police nabbed Mark who was listed as Top 5 most wanted person on station level in Quezon City.

Motante said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Antonio Ray Ortiguera on July 3, 2020.

He said the suspect was also found not complying to an out-patient rehabilitation on drugs order issued on Jan. 23, 2024 by Judge Beatrice Aguana-Balmaceda, of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 200.
