West Philippine Sea fun run set

RUNRIO Inc. will hold the advocacy run "Takbo para sa West Philippine Sea" together with the Philippine Coast Guard, National Task Force-West Philippine Sea, Philippine Information Agency, and the Presidential Communications Office.

RUNRIO INC. founded by its President, Rio de la Cruz, a celebrity runner, international marathoner, and a sought-after running coach, aims to support the national government's efforts in raising awareness about the importance of the West Philippine Sea.

Proceeds will be used to produce reading materials on the history, activities, and the truth about the West Philippine Sea and these will be distributed for free around the country.

The fun run will be held on July 7 at SM MOA Complex, August 11 at SM Seaside City Cebu, and September 8 in Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City.
